WHAT IS INTERNET?
Internet is a computer based worldwide communication network, which is composed of large number of smaller interconnected networks.

WHAT IS WORLD WIDE WEB (WWW)?
The World Wide Web is a set of programs, standards and protocols that allows the multimedia and hypertext files to be created, displayed and linked to the internet.

WHAT IS WEB SERVER?
A web server is a www server that stores web documents and responds to the request made by web browsers.

WHAT ARE WEBSITES?
A website or a site is a group of related web pages hosted on a web server and are linked together and share a common interface and design.

DEFINE HYPERTEXT.
Hypertext refers to the combination of text graphic, images, audio and video tracks and hyperlink. A hyperlink refers to a dynamic link upon clicking at which a new web page or programs opens.

WHAT IS A WEB BROWSER?
A web browser is a program that lets you visit different sites on net and display their offerings on your above computer.

DEFINE BLOG.
A blog refers to an online journal where entries are posted. The word blog has been derived from weBLOG.

DEFINE BLOGGING.
A PERSON WHO WRITES AND MAINTAINS A BLOGIS CALLED BLOGGER AND ART OF WRITING BLOG IS CALLED BLOGGING.

WHAT IS AN URL?
A location on a net server is called a URL (Uniform Resource Locator).

WHAT IS NEWS GROUP?
A News Group or Forum is online bulletin board, where users can post messages, respond to posted messages, or just read them. Groups of related messages are known as Threads.

WHAT IS HTTPS?
Https (hypertext transfer protocol secure) is the set of rules for transferring hypertext (i.e. text, graphics, image, sound, video etc.) On www (World Wide Web).
